Getting Started

The SEO Audit Tool helps you analyze and optimize your website's search engine optimization. Enter a URL to receive a comprehensive analysis report.

Quick Start Steps:

  1. Enter a URL in the input field (e.g., https://example.com)
  2. Click "Add to Queue" or press Enter
  3. Click "Start SEO Analysis" to begin the audit
  4. Review the detailed analysis across multiple tabs
  5. Export your report in your preferred format

Single URL Analysis

Analyze individual URLs with detailed SEO insights. The tool fetches the webpage and performs comprehensive analysis across multiple SEO factors.

Input Requirements

  • URL must include the protocol (http:// or https://)
  • Valid domain name or IP address
  • The page must be accessible (not blocked by robots.txt if respecting)

Example Valid URLs:

Bulk Analysis

Analyze multiple URLs at once with the bulk analysis feature. This is useful for auditing entire websites or comparing multiple pages.

How to Use Bulk Analysis:

  1. Switch to the "Bulk Analysis" tab
  2. Paste multiple URLs, one per line
  3. Click "Add URLs to Queue"
  4. Review the URLs in the analysis queue
  5. Click "Start SEO Analysis" to begin

Processing Time

Bulk analysis may take several minutes depending on the number of URLs. A small delay is added between requests to be respectful to servers.

Crawl Settings

Configure how the tool crawls and analyzes websites using the Settings tab.

Available Settings

Follow Redirects

Automatically follow HTTP redirects (301, 302, etc.) during analysis. Recommended for accurate results.

Respect robots.txt

Check the robots.txt file before crawling. Respects webmaster directives for ethical crawling.

Request Timeout

Maximum time to wait for server response (5000-60000ms). Increase for slow servers.

User Agent String

Identifies your crawler to web servers. Default: "SEO-Audit-Tool/1.0"

Email Privacy Analysis

The Email Privacy tab scans your page for exposed email addresses and provides recommendations to protect them from spam bots and scrapers.

Meta Score Calculation

The meta score is calculated based on the presence and quality of essential meta tags. Title and description are weighted most heavily.

Headings Analysis

The Headings tab analyzes the heading structure (H1-H6) of the page to ensure proper content hierarchy and accessibility.

Checked Issues

Missing H1

Pages should have exactly one H1 heading for optimal SEO.

Multiple H1s

Multiple H1 tags can confuse search engines and dilute keyword relevance.

Heading Level Jumps

Skipping heading levels (e.g., H1 to H3) breaks the logical hierarchy.

Empty Headings

Remove empty heading tags as they provide no SEO value and hurt accessibility.
